After 25 years, ex-Catholic Priest gets married

A man who was apparently a Catholic priest for 25 years reportedly married his beautiful bride two days ago, October 26th 2019 in Kaduna State.

On the wedding day, the former Catholic Priest who served for 25 years, and is said to be a History and International Relations lecturer at Veritas University, reportedly said ‘I do’ to his beautiful bride, identified as Ratilla Ussa in a wedding ceremony which was attended by family, friends and loved ones.


Mike Boni Bazza is the name of former Catholic Priest.

Facebook user, Barka Lungu wrote;

“Retired Rev. Mike Boni Bazza OSA, the ex-Catholic Priest got married today, after years of cutting off ties with the largest Christian church. Rev. Former Congressman John Conyers Dead at 90

Former congressman Rep. John Conyers has died.

His son, John Conyers III confirmed the news, saying he died in his sleep on Sunday.

The deceased was elected into office in the '60s and continued to serve in his capacity for decades to come ... working tirelessly toward civil rights for African-Americans and minorities along the way, helping to boost voter registration in the community while also securing legal representation for countless people who were wrongly arrested.

Conyers was 90.

May his soul rest in peace.

Steve Harvey Appreciates God for his success despite having no education

Popular American comedian and Host, Steve Harney has taken the time to look back at his Life and Career so far and he has given God all the credit.

The six-time Daytime Emmy Award winner first performed stand-up comedy on October 8, 1985, at the Hilarities Comedy Club in Cleveland, Ohio. The comedian was homeless for three years and slept in his 1976 Ford when not performing gigs that provided a hotel, and he showered at gas stations or swimming pool showers.

He said God had made him successful even with the fact that he had no good education. In his recent shows, Harvey has used the opportunity to inspire people’s lives by sharing his story of grass to grace.

Steve acknowledged he was not good in school but learning to identify his gifts, mapping his vision and trusting God had gotten him to the peak of success.


“A simple principle of success is that it has to be written down somewhere. Oprah was on TV for 30 years talking of these vision boards,” Harvey said.

He added that he learned a few scriptures that made sense to his ear, one being:

“You have not, because you ask not. Faith without works is dead. Write the vision and make a plan”. “I did it without an education, I did it without nobodies money, all I did is I worked, wrote my visions down, read them morning and night,”

One of the reasons for the Spirit of the Lord is to know and discover your partner for the purpose of Understanding them or discerning them for compatibility or otherwise.

If you discover these two negative behavior in your partner, then you need to do one of the following two things;

1. Help them to discover their weaknesses and its danger to them and the relationship. After doing this you can now prayerfully help them to change and overcome their weakness.
2. However, if they don't change and accept the solution offered, the only wise thing to do is to avoid them and move on with your life.

If you eventually think or went on with the marriage with the hope of coping with it, you might be enrolling for a lifetime of Abuse and Frustration.

It's either you do all you can to help them change or let go of them for God to work in them.

Felicity Huffman released after 11 days in Prison for college admissions scam

Actress Felicity Huffman was released Friday from a federal prison in Dublin, California, after serving 11 days of a two-week sentence for her role in the college admissions scam, according to the Bureau of Prisons.

Huffman, the "Desperate Housewives" star, was the first of the more than 30 parents charged in the sprawling criminal case to begin serving a prison sentence. She pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud for paying $15,000 to the scam's mastermind as part of a scheme to cheat on the SATs and boost her daughter's test scores.

According to the BOP; She was set free because of a bureau policy that allows inmates to leave before a release date that "falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, on the last preceding weekday unless it is necessary to detain the inmate for another jurisdiction seeking custody under a detainer, or for any other reason which might indicate that the inmate should not be released until the inmate's scheduled release date,".

Emilia Clarke "was too many drinks in" and cried the moment she met Beyoncé at an Oscars afterparty, she says.

Speaking to Graham Norton, the HBO show star said Beyoncé "got out of there very quickly" when she saw Clarke burst into tears at the sight of her and husband Jay Z.

"I did not expect to see them in the flesh. I wasn't expecting that at all, I was just amazed to be invited," Clarke said. "I was like, 'How did that happen?' When I met Queen Bey I was too many drinks in and started crying. It didn't go well. I think she got out of there very quickly!"

Asabe Salisu, on Friday requested that her eight-year-old marriage to her husband, be dissolved by an Upper Area Court in Mararaba, Nasarawa State, due to alleged battery and consistent insults to her parents.

Asabe revealed to the court that her husband Ali Tada, has failed in his duties as the man of the house, Tontrends reports.

“I have been married to Ali for eight years and we have two children. My husband is a very violent and disrespectful man.

“He threatens my family members. He also beats, calls me names. He is also a wicked man.

Asabe pleaded with the court to confirm the dissolution of the marriage and to also compel the respondent to pay her N237,000 he was owing to her.

The respondent, however, denied all the allegations.

The judge, Mr. Ibrahim Shekarau, adjourned the case until Oct. 31 for hearing and consideration of settlement.

Youth Corper Allegedly beats Young boy to Death in Kano state.

A NYSC member currently serving in Bebeji local government area of Kano state, has allegedly beaten a young boy identified as Almajiri to death.

However, the police have barricaded the area to prevent irate mob from attacking the corps member.

The event was said to have occurred on Thursday evening when the boy was said to have rushed to the corps members’ lodge to collect his share of fruits usually distributed among the of the children’s area.

It was further gathered that the deceased in his eagerness to get its own share of the fruits, mistakenly collided with the corps member.

This, according to sources allegedly provoked him (corps member), who descended on him by beating him to a state of coma, which allegedly led to his death.

The Public Relations Officer of Bebeji Transformation for Change, Shehu Suleiman, who revealed details of the incident, said the policemen had barricaded the area to prevent residents of the area from attacking the corps member.

He further said that the policemen whisked the corps member away, while the boy’s corpse was taken to a hospital in Bebeji.

When contacted through telephone, Kano state NYSC Coordinator, Alhaji Ladan Baba, confirmed that the report had gotten to his desk.

He, however, disclosed that his officials have proceeded to Bebeji this morning to further investigate the incident.

The image which was initially spotted by Hello! magazine in May 2018 in a meeting between the 93-year-old monarch and Honorable George Brandis, the Australian High Commissioner to the UK has  been apparently removed by Queen Elizabeth II.

This was confirmed with a recent photograph featuring the Queen and High Commissioner for Grenada, Lakisha Grant,  where the photo of the royal couple wasn't noticed on the wall

The removal of the picture comes at a crucial time for the royal family, as tensions continue to rise between Harry and Prince William.
