Anthoine Hubert dies as a Result of a Car crash in Belgium

The 22-year-old Frenchman suffered a huge impact at the Raidillon swerves from American Juan Manuel Correa's car at about 170 mph.

A statement from the FIA said that after the occurrence, Hubert was taken to the medical centre and died at local time at 18:35.

The race was ceased after the accident and cancelled a couple of minutes when the potential reality of the mishap turned out to be clear.


Correa was taken to Liege hospital and is in a stable condition, the FIA said.

Renault said in a statement: "Anthoine was a member of the Renault Sport Academy and raced in the FIA Formula 2 Championship, the final ladder to F1.

"As reigning GP3 champion and member of the Equipe de France, FFSA (French Federation of Motorsport), the Frenchman was a huge talent who also brought great energy and positivity to his championship, his teams and the Renault Sport Academy.

"His smile and sunny personality lit up our formidable group of young drivers, who had formed tight and enduring bonds.

"His strong results in F2 this season, including wins on home soil in Monaco and France, inspired not just the other recruits but also the wider Renault Sport Racing group."

As we approach the 6-year anniversary of the Fast & Furious star's untimely death, his daughter, 20-year-old Meadow Walker, is spending time with those who knew her father best. In a photo posted to Meadow's Instagram, she's seen hugging Vin Diesel's daughter, 11-year-old Hania Sinclair.

"With my angel," she captioned the sweet moment.

Diesel, who starred opposite Walker in the action movie franchise and famously forged a close bond with the actor, actually named his 4-year-old daughter Pauline in honor of the late actor. "There's no other person that I'm thinking about as I'm cutting this umbilical cord," Diesel explained on NBC's Today after her birth. "I knew he was there and I felt like, you know, a way to keep his memory a part of my memory, a part of my world."

Walker died in 2013 at the age of 40 following a high-speed car crash. In 2017, Meadow settled a wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche, the manufacturer of the vehicle Roger Rodas was driving at the time of the incident. Though stipulations of the settlement remained confidential, one year prior she was awarded $10.1 million by the estate of Rodas.

Kin Rich walked through the town centre of Birmingham when he heard the playing of the flute.

He paused and spoke to Nathan, the homeless guy, who played and chose to record the melody.

But he did not expect it to go viral when he tested it and created a song.

"I approached him, we started talking and he told me he loves music," Kin told Radio 1 Newsbeat.

"He said it's his life - he doesn't have anything else. He doesn't have anywhere to stay, but he has music."

At the time Kin gave Nathan the only money he had in his pocket - a five pound note - but he didn't leave.

He stayed and recorded the tune Nathan was playing on the flute using his phone.

"I told him I wanted to work with him. The flute is my favourite instrument to put with my beats."

After getting the recording, Kin went home and added a beat and a hook, and posted a snippet of the song on Instagram.

"I woke up the next day to so many likes and views on my post, it was crazy."

Kin returned to the city centre and played the song to Nathan.

"He called me a genius - I was calling him a genius too!

"He told me he liked how I rearranged it all, he loves it."

Kin is determined to make his song a success, and is filming a music video to go with it, involving Nathan and his flute.

"I told him on the day I met him; 'If this blows up, if I make any money from it, I promise I've got you bro. I'll treat you.'

"I love that I got to showcase his talent and mine.

"We're definitely going to keep in touch. I love him, we're always laughing together. I can see me and him performing live."

Woman, 34, dies at the spiritual purification ceremony in Cyprus after taking psychedelic drugs

A Russian female, 50 years old, has been arrested by the police and are in touch with Interpol to locate a Colombian male accused of supplying the drug for the celebration on Tuesday.

The purification involved 20 people in the coastal town of Larnaca who took ayahuasca and the ritual was reportedly led by the Russian woman.

Cyprus police said today that the illegal drug dimethyltryptamine (DMT), also recognized as ayahuasca, has just been found for the first time.

In the native language, the drug becomes the spirit soul and the dead body called.

The Latvian woman was unconscious when she was taken to the General Hospital of Larnaca and was declared dead on arrival on Tuesday, according to Phile News.

The Colombian man, 42, is supposed to have delivered the medicine and left Cyprus shortly after the ceremony.

Emmy-winning 'Rhoda' star, Valerie Harper, dies at 80

Valerie Harper, who became famous as Rhoda on the classic sitcom "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and continued as the personality in a famous spinoff series, died after a lengthy fight with cancer,  her sister Cristina Cacciotti and family friend Deanna Buskey reported to CNN.

She was eighty(80).

Buskey, a family friend for over 20 years, said the family didn't "provide info at this moment." Buskey, who first encountered Harper and her boyfriend while working with them on their "All Under Heaven" movie project, helped start a GoFundMe account previously this summer for Harper's care.

Cristina Cacciotti said her mother died at 10:06 a.m. Friday.

Off screen, Harper was active in politics and charitable endeavors, advocating for the Equal Rights Amendment and championing a charity known as L.I.F.E., which stood for Love Is Feeding Everyone.
