Why should Believers pray?
1. Believers are commanded to Pray. (Luke 18:1, 1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Praying without ceasing means being consistent in your prayer life.
2.it is one of the major strategies for fellowship with the father. (1 Corinthians 14:2)
Prayer is one of the strategies for fellowship and communion (intimacy, intercourse and participation with the spirit
3. It is a platform for growth and transformation. (Luke 9:28-29)
Believers who don’t pray cannot grow effectively. Prayer is a system allocated for your growth and transformation.
4. Prayer is a platform for warfare and intercession (Acts 12:-1-5)
5.According to Scripture, prayer is a strategy to keep your faith alive.
(Luke 22:30-32)
6. Prayer is the authorized biblical platform to table your request and make petitions.

Mark 1:40-45 Miracles that you can't keep quiet about will begin to happen in your lives today, Testimony will never cease in the homes of those working for the Lord Jesus Christ. Mark 5:2-20.
Your testimonies will bring millions of people to the kingdom of God.
1 Samuel 1:1-20 you and those that attend the house fellowship will never know bareness again. 2 Chronicles 20:1- 37. All those that planned to destroy you will be gone before you got home after this convention. His house is a house of prayer, testimony for the sick, bound, barren and oppressed. Using your house as the house fellowship center will turn your house to a house of prayer and testimonies.

6 Mistakes Every Ministers Should Avoid - Pastor Femi Lazarus
Ministers Hear This:
It is important that we know that no minister of God is exempted from mistakes, the mistakes, however, can be minimized through the operation of wisdom and a teachable heart.
I have taught times and times again that in any Ministry, the first set of sons and daughters there can only survive under the one leading them by allowing forgiveness reign in their hearts.
Here are a few terrible mistakes that ministers of God must run away from:
Many church members may not be able to say it, but it doesn’t change the fact that it hurts them.
1) Don’t make the mistake of bringing people’s personal issues that they brought to you on the basis of trust and respect to the pulpit while ministering.
Don’t fall to the temptation of thinking that they are not on seat, those who are on seat and also know about the issue will call to tell them after the meeting. When a trusted priest brings up the people’s matter on the pulpit to either scorn them or teach others lessons from it, it Pierces the people’s hearts and makes them vulnerable to offenses. It is betrayal, it is an abuse of power and sacred position of authority.
2) Don’t correct personal issues that you could discuss with a person personally on the altar with the thought that the fellow will understand better, it is cowardice to do so, it doesn’t show strength, it shows weaknesses all over.
Personal issues should be dealt with personally, and that for the congregation should be dealt with congregationally.
3) Teach people to be faithful and loyal, but don’t fall into the pitfall of putting them under the pressure of staying around you in the days of plenty because you have been there in their days of lack. I have had to pray about this particular one very well, and I have had to conclude that anytime people have to stay around a Ministry for anything else other than love, then the rest becomes manipulations. Should people do good back to a people that have supported them when they were not strong enough? yes! But they should know that they are not under any pressure to do so, it is only good to do so.
4) Avoid the mistake of coming to the pulpit to preach ministers who have offended you than God’s word itself. Preach the scripture, stay consistent with it, if you do so, you will stay longer and relevant around the things of Ministry.
In all cases, it is better to be quiet on a subject matter than to vent in anger and offenses.
No minister of God should ever leave the people wondering who he was referring to after preaching.

5) I have observed and discovered that Ministry and ministers who live all their lives dealing with petty issues don’t grow. Some issues are to be completely ignored while the parties involved settle their issues amongst themselves. The moment the clergy gets himself roped in every matter, soon the people will begin to see him as being biased, particularly the parties that are falling short in his judgments.
6 ) Avoid the temptation of using prophesy to match make members as husband and wife. I have encouraged Christians over and over again that they are never to be trapped in a web where someone is trying to prophesy a spouse into their lives, it will always backfire.
Dear minister, even when you have an incline that two people are meant for each other, kindly let them pray and discover on their own, it is more honourable that way.
Lastly, avoid the mistake of the indiscriminate relationship between opposite sex. Dear male pastor, please stop asking ladies to come to see you at August hours of the day, kindly resist the temptation of falling in love randomly. The fact that you are anointed is enough reason for many ladies to like you and want you for a future partner, kindly ask God for wisdom to handle situations like this. Make your relationship public, don’t refer to your spouse as your sister, you are not Abraham.
Please note this, at some points of greatness, it is possible that even some of your so-called friends may not be able to handle it, kindly remain focused and humble.
I hope this helps someone, this helps the work of God in someone’s hands, and it is received sincerely in humility love.

I have taught times and times again that in any Ministry, the first set of sons and daughters there can only survive under the one leading them by allowing forgiveness reign in their hearts.
Here are a few terrible mistakes that ministers of God must run away from:
Many church members may not be able to say it, but it doesn’t change the fact that it hurts them.
1) Don’t make the mistake of bringing people’s personal issues that they brought to you on the basis of trust and respect to the pulpit while ministering.
Don’t fall to the temptation of thinking that they are not on seat, those who are on seat and also know about the issue will call to tell them after the meeting. When a trusted priest brings up the people’s matter on the pulpit to either scorn them or teach others lessons from it, it Pierces the people’s hearts and makes them vulnerable to offenses. It is betrayal, it is an abuse of power and sacred position of authority.
2) Don’t correct personal issues that you could discuss with a person personally on the altar with the thought that the fellow will understand better, it is cowardice to do so, it doesn’t show strength, it shows weaknesses all over.
Personal issues should be dealt with personally, and that for the congregation should be dealt with congregationally.
3) Teach people to be faithful and loyal, but don’t fall into the pitfall of putting them under the pressure of staying around you in the days of plenty because you have been there in their days of lack. I have had to pray about this particular one very well, and I have had to conclude that anytime people have to stay around a Ministry for anything else other than love, then the rest becomes manipulations. Should people do good back to a people that have supported them when they were not strong enough? yes! But they should know that they are not under any pressure to do so, it is only good to do so.
4) Avoid the mistake of coming to the pulpit to preach ministers who have offended you than God’s word itself. Preach the scripture, stay consistent with it, if you do so, you will stay longer and relevant around the things of Ministry.
In all cases, it is better to be quiet on a subject matter than to vent in anger and offenses.
No minister of God should ever leave the people wondering who he was referring to after preaching.

5) I have observed and discovered that Ministry and ministers who live all their lives dealing with petty issues don’t grow. Some issues are to be completely ignored while the parties involved settle their issues amongst themselves. The moment the clergy gets himself roped in every matter, soon the people will begin to see him as being biased, particularly the parties that are falling short in his judgments.
6 ) Avoid the temptation of using prophesy to match make members as husband and wife. I have encouraged Christians over and over again that they are never to be trapped in a web where someone is trying to prophesy a spouse into their lives, it will always backfire.
Dear minister, even when you have an incline that two people are meant for each other, kindly let them pray and discover on their own, it is more honourable that way.
Lastly, avoid the mistake of the indiscriminate relationship between opposite sex. Dear male pastor, please stop asking ladies to come to see you at August hours of the day, kindly resist the temptation of falling in love randomly. The fact that you are anointed is enough reason for many ladies to like you and want you for a future partner, kindly ask God for wisdom to handle situations like this. Make your relationship public, don’t refer to your spouse as your sister, you are not Abraham.
Please note this, at some points of greatness, it is possible that even some of your so-called friends may not be able to handle it, kindly remain focused and humble.
I hope this helps someone, this helps the work of God in someone’s hands, and it is received sincerely in humility love.
WHY SOME SPIRITUAL LADIES MAY NOT POSSIBLE HAVE ANY COMPANION - PST FEMI LAZARUS
This is a very delicate matter, and I have been particularly praying for wisdom to handle this matter for days now.
As a lead pastor of a church of 100% youths, as the ladies grow older, my concerns get stronger. Most of those that I consider “the best” are usually the ones who struggle in this area. Sometimes I get cranky and feel church guys are looking for something else and not good relationship, but is this true? Definitely not! There are plenty of good boys in church.
To solve big problems you need to answer honest questions. I began asking questions like;
Why do I consider them as good girls?
It is very simple, I know them. I am their pastor. I have seen them handle various issues, I have seen both their divine and human part.
Why are guys not seeing this?
It is also very simple.
To answer this we need to look at the law of projection. ” People will believe more of what they see of you than what you really are”
Most of them project themselves as too perfect, they project just the church part, just the tongues, and the prophetic nature, they mask themselves behind the veil of religion.
They mostly lie about their human part because of fear of persecution and rejection in their circle. Little do they know that there are broken people just like them in their circle who need a lady who will complement them and not judge them. Most of these guys are afraid of them, they want a wife and not a judge, they want a babe and not a pastor, they want a friend and not a prophetess. This is marriage, you know!
When questions are asked in church, the brothers quietly watch the way they scramble around the word “sex” it sends chills down the spines of prospective brothers, and in most cases, the brothers themselves are also masquerading, they know much more than they are projecting, and the ladies are held in tight corner. Things deceit does to holy people!
Sometimes the issue itself is not lack of prayer, it may be that prayer is all we do and we haven’t been flexible enough to change and review some aspects of our lives.
Sometimes the issue is not that we don’t serve God enough, maybe we do but we don’t understand what it means to be ourselves without religious filters.
One more thing that I have come to notice is; sometimes many let the bitterness that came as a result of disappointments to eat up their perception of Christian brothers. The more the brothers perceive their anger, the more they run away.
Apart from the issue of dressing, presentation, backgrounds, and health issues (which is a sensitive one), one more hinderance could be lack of flexibility as a result of religious colorations.
I put it to you; you are not just a lady-pastor, you are a beautiful woman, you are not just a ministry gift, you are a lovely lady. Strike the balance, it might be the only stone you have left to turn.
Beyond the disappointments you have experienced, God still has good boys, and they are all over the place.
