The path of destruction a tornado as been shown by a new satellite image as the tornado on Sunday evening tore through Dallas.

According to the Texas Insurance Council, the tornadoes that tore through the Dallas area will be the most costly tornado outbreak in Texas history. CNN affiliate KTVT was told by the council that the expected loss would amount about $2 billion.

Satellite imagery from Maxar Technologies show the scar one tornado cut into the earth.

The debris path is clear in the center of the photograph. When zoomed in, the destruction the tornado left as it jumped the Dallas North Tollway is clear.
