3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Psalm 34:1:
1. I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
SWIMMING IN GLORY 6 MESSAGE:
You have several reasons to thank God and also praise his Holy name, one of which includes that you should praise God for the forgiveness of your sins. 1 John 1:7, Revelation 12:11, John 15:13, John 6:51Everything that we need to thank God for are all compressed in the Holy Communion Meal. The bread stands for the body of Christ that was broken for us. The wine is His blood for redemption.
When you take the bread, just begin to thank God for His body that was broken for you, appreciate him for the sacrifices he has made for you. And also as you take the wine tonight, your cry will be; Father, let the fire of praise from heaven descend upon me so I will begin to praise You as I ought to.
Mankind was created to sing. This is why we have songs for every situation. You can tell what is happening in a person's life by the song he/she sings.
I pray for you today, you will sing a new song.
If our purpose is to praise, How then can you praise God?
1. Praise with your mouth. Psalm 34:1
2. Praise with your hands by lifting them or clapping. Lifting them allows God lift you and keep you under His protection. Psalm 134:1-3
3. You can praise with your legs. You can curtsy, kneel, bow or dance. Bowing your knees to God signifies that you accept His supremacy.
Rewards of Praising God
