The list for the top 10 most paid footballers on the planet has been uncovered

In L'Equipe's yearly pay report, the French news outlet revealed who the 10 best-paid footballers in Europe are passing by month to month wage before tax, with Barcelona striker Lionel Messi as the first on the list with £7.3million beating long haul rival Cristiano Ronaldo in second who wins a stunning £4.1m per month before tax.

Coming in third is Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann who procures £2.9m (€3.3m).

Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar pursues Griezmann with reported month to month profit of £2.7m (€3.06m) while Luis Suarez finishes the top five with a month to month pay of £2.5m (€2.9m).
