Husband allegedly Murders wife by Beating her with belt

A man identified as Laiko Osuri, has been arrested for allegedly beating his wife, Beryl Adhiambo Ouma, to death with a belt.

The unfortunate incident happened at their Kahawa Sukari home, Nairobi, Kenya.

According to neighbours who spoke to a local, the couple battles a lot but clarified that the fights were the normal "husband and spouse fights".

On the fateful day, the deceased apparently shouted for help for a considerable length of time however no one went to help her.

Her dad, Douglas Ouma said that his late little girl, Beryl Adhiambo Ouma, sent him a "Please Call Me" message on Wednesday night. Yet, he attempted to contact her, nobody came to the telephone.

“My daughter sent me a ‘Please call me’ but I was asleep so I did not hear the phone,” he is quoted by the daily.

Mr Osuri who later got back to him informed him that he and Adhiambo had a contention.

Affirming the subtleties was Ruiru divisional police officer James Ng'etich who noticed that the suspect who is as of now in their custody had confessed to beating the deceased utilizing a belt.
